Creating National a COVID-19 OHS framework and protocol for OHS Committee and Unions

When COVID hit, I created with the National OHS Committee and the unions a COVID-19 OHS framework and protocol to protect our employees and our workplaces. Most of our worksites did not close and continued to serve the public. We had several retails and grocery stores operations that were deemed essential and we had to continue to train the Canadian Armed Forces to ensure their operational readiness. Due to our strong protocol in place we only had 1 outbreak that was quickly contained. Myself and the National OHS committee, including the union partners, received the 2020 CEO Commendation Award for COVID-19 prevention efforts.
